Data is linked to a turnkey Web-based application from Microlise® that is both intuitive and easily customized to display the data most important to you. The Crew Chief application can be accessed from any Internet-connected computer, including the Ford Work Solutions™ In-Dash Computer.*

Real-time vehicle tracking

With Crew Chief™ you dispatch vehicles to their service locations quickly and monitor their activity. And Crew Chief™ really comes in handy when you need to redeploy vehicles that are out on the road at a moment’s notice.

Crew Chief™ lets you track vehicle location and other key data such as excessive speed, fuel consumption, idle time, driver performance, and more. Its GPS mapping support includes satellite aerial views. And its “geofencing” capability sets operational boundaries by vehicle, based on geography or hours of operation. The system can also be programmed to identify user-set alerts, such as unauthorized use of a vehicle or excessive idling.

Real-time maintenance tracking

Fleet trucks require frequent maintenance, especially those operating in “severe duty” applications involving heavy stop-and-go driving and idling.

Crew Chief™ records and displays diagnostic information, such as engine conditions and tire pressure, and notifies you when scheduled maintenance is needed. Users can define reports based on what information they want.
